In 2007, during their weekly beer and fried-fish gathering, the two inventors got inspired to delve into a dream that Prof. Carmelo had the night before, on fishes swimming in schools.
Coincidently, in that same week both inventors had vivid discussions about new metaheuristic in a Lecture of Prof. Fernando. All this happened just after a cable TV documentary of Discovery channel on gregarious animals.
The matter of fact is that the fist draft regarding the operators of the FSS Vanilla version was written in a napkin of a Chinese restaurant over some beers and, surprisingly, eating fish.
The moral lesson drawn is: never miss out an opportunity to freshen up your mind, getting rid of “weak” neurons that clog your brain, by the old means of a gentleman decent beer wash-up 🙂
